..Last Sunday will still in Dallas,,i received a text from Bear say'n that he had been diagnosed with multiple Myeloma cancer and started chemo treatments...all week i have sent him text messages and prayers..with no replies...Today,,Ivy,, Bears wife text'd me to say Bear is unable to respond yet he is doing much, much better....sum of you were there when i received the message,,so i wished to pass along this news to you and all wolves,,,

..My dear wife,, "a Nurse"...tells me i could have named the cancer wrong...Melanoma, not Myeloma...Bears text to me said,,"multiple Miloma cancer" the word, "multiple",,,, Once again; i might be confused;,, and so i write this message to let you all know,, i'm doing the best i can.....

Cancer is Cancer. Melanoma is a type of skin-cancer. Multiple Myleoma is in fact multiple Tumors thru-out the body can be treated and put in remission. Praers go out for Barry and his family. Luv you BRO, Stubby a cancer survivor.

..(Bear's)..Doing a lot better (considering what he's going thru)...his 7th radiation therapy today...Still confused a bit.!! Had blood transfusion yesterday..(low blood)..he's making steps ahead everyday.

Bear is a good friend of mine went to visit him yesterday looking a lot better than last week.
He is now at Carriage of Whidbey 360-678-7300 room 59 there is another old Sea wolf sharing the same room his name is Dave Holzer I’m sure they would enjoy a shout out from their old bud’s

Visited Bear today he is looking better but in a lot of pain in his lower back their giving him pills for pain management, he has finished his radiation will start chemo next week. I told him that his old buddy’s from HSL- 3 Seawolves were praying for him and wishing him the best. he got that big shit eating grin and said thanks guys and he loved you.

..Thanks for your post,,i called the hospital number,,took three try's before i was able to briefly speak with Bear...Again your visits and post are helpful,,keep them coming....many was the days Bear and i flew together into harms way.
