A group of Seawolves will be making a “4 corners” ride this summer. The 4 corners being Madawaska, Maine, Blaine, WA, San Ysidro, CA and Key West, FL. Departing from Enfield, CT will be Seawolves Tom Conklin, Jimmy Sheel, and Rick Meussner, and (Airwolf) Joe Miele. From Maine we’ll be shortcutting through Quebec and Ontario to get to Grand Rapids, MI for a visit with David Smale, then on by Ferry to Milwaukee for a brief stop at the Harley Davidson Museum. Somewhere between Milwaukee and the South Dakota Badlands, we will visit Chuck Cosgrove.
While in South Dakota we’ll make stops at Mount Rushmore, Sturgis, Wall Drug Store, and Crazy Horse. Then it’s on to Casper Wyoming for a brief stop, Then to Jackson Hole, we’’ be picking up Barry Waluda and Art Stoneking then going on to Grand Teton and Yellowstone en-route to Ennis Montana for BBQ with Dick Barr. While in MT we’ll see Glacier National Park and ride “Going to the Sun Road” before stopping in Coeur D’Alene, ID for a visit with Sherm Snyder. On the way to NAS Whidbey, we’ll stop and see Grand Coulee Dam. Then travel on to Vancouver, BC.
From Vancouver we’ll take ferries to Victoria and Port Angeles, WA, and then proceed down Pacific Coast Highway, (PCH), to Tillamook, OR, Eureka CA, passing through Redwoods. At Eureka, We’ll divert inland to Cottonwood, CA and the Glenn L. Wilson SEAWOLF American Legion Post, and dinner with the Wilsons. After Cottonwood it’s back out to the coast for more PCH down to Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. After Monterey, It’s back on to the PCH down to Chula Vista and San Ysidro.
From Southern California, it’s a run through Casa Grande, AZ and Las Cruces NM to Ozona or Sonora, TX. We’ll stop in San Antonio, Magnolia TX, Lafayette, LA and New Orleans. After New Orleans it’s on to Pensacola, visiting swimmer school and NAS Pensacola. Somewhere around Pensacola Dave Frazier will join the run through Florida. We’ll stop at Sebring, Key West, Key Largo, Fort Pierce and NAS Jacksonville, where we’ll visit Jim Catling and be joined by Brian Chase.
From JAX it’s a hop up the coast to Charleston, SC – Patriots Point and USS Yorktown. From there it’s up the coast again to Virginia Beach and a visit with Wes Weseleskey. After Virginia Beach, we’ll ride north via Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel with brief stops in Mt. Royal, NJ and Philly. Then travel on up to West Point, NY via the Delaware Water Gap and again to Enfield, CT.
After Enfield, Barry, will still need to do the Maine Portion; he’ll ride up to Madawaska, Quebec, Toronto, and home to Colorado Springs, CO.

Mike (Chuck) Moore, Bin Thuy 70-71 was from St. Regis, and returned their...sadly he passed in 2008, Kids and wife still live there.... probably give them a thrill if you dropped by. But keeping on schedule gotta be a bitch....

Rick "Opa" Meussner... I'm sure you are getting excited about your Trek! Can you give us some details on activities occurring between San Francisco and San Diego/Chula Vista area near end of June? Possibly a chance to show our support... need a new pic.

I am living in Deerfield Beach Fl. I don't know if you guys would be interested in stopping after Sebring on the way to Key West. I am a plank owner first assigned to Vung Tau that had to live at Canto because no room on the base. I spent most of my tour at Ving Long returning to the states in December 1967
I haven't met any other Seawolves and unfortunately not able to make the up coming reunion because of doctors appointment in NY at that time.
If you guys would want o stop, I would love to say hello.
