He's listed on Dan's Master list as Deceased. He was Det 1 70-71

nope, he wasn't on Det 1 in the 70-71 time frame ----- that is , between June 70 and April 71

He arrived to Det 1 about 2 months after you left Mike...

Seawolf AMS3 George Edward McQuiston, III, HA(L)-3 9/24/1970 to 11/3/1971 was on Det 1 for a short while.
I received a an update to my Seawolf Master List several years ago from Seawolf Jack Coan who said he thought George came to Det 1 about June 1971.
I do know George received two different Air Medal-Strike/Flight Awards on 26 Oct 1971 and another on 29 Feb 1972 from HA(L)-3. I do not know how many numerals were on each award though. George Edward McQuiston III, 64, of Bradenton, passed away on February 7th, 2013.
