Mike Connelly emailed me yesterday that he had found what looked like a Find A Grave memorial for Seawolf Charles Lee DAVIS, AO1, Gunner, Det 5, 6/4/1968 to 5/27/1969.
Mike knew he was from Georgia and it appeared to be him. He asked if I could check it out, and unfortunately it was him.
From the birth and death dates, I was able to find the SSN and cross checked it in the Navy Awards site and confirmed this person received the same awards that I knew Charles had received, and during the same time of Charles' tour.

Find A Grave Memorial LinkNavy Together We Served Shadowbox ProfileI had been trying to find relatives of a different grave site with the name Charles Lee Davis - US NAVY, but had a 1940 birthdate.
Thanks Mike, for finding him.Of 2,552 confirmed Seawolf names, 358 Navy Seawolves still remain to be found, which includes 29 Plank Owners, and 7 prior Association Members we’ve lost contact with.
Sadly, we now have 508 confirmed DAT (Died After Tour), (19.91%).
