KIA AMH3 Raymond RObinson - DET-1

Craig Jones
Seawolves, I have identified 45 names of Seawolves that may have been on DET-1 during the time Raymond Robinson was on DET-1 up until the time he and the rest of his crew were KIA.  Of that 45, I identified 19 that are Association members.  I will start calling those 19 tomorrow.  Trying to find anyone that flew with Robinson or that can provide information about his time on DET.  Would like to have this info for his induction into the ROH.  If you have anything or memories of him, please contact me.  Especially if you have any info on his next of Kin.

Craig, I was on det-1 67-68 and flew a lot with Robbie, he flew right door I flew left. I think I have some pictures of he somewhere, I'll look. They were my crew and think about them all. RIP.

I have Good news Richard.  The ROH board approved his him for induction.  I could use some of the photos though if you have them.  If you have anything you would like to say about him and how he was as a door gunner I would be happy to include it in his ROH file.   We will be using some of that info ang photos for the  kiosk on the Yorktown.  I plan on trying to have a photo of every inductee, from that timeframe, a list of their awards and a short write up about them so when a relative or anyone else finds their name in the kiosk, they won't just be looking at a name.

Sorry James.  I didn’t see your post.  Can you send me the pics via email combataircrewroh@gmail.com
Regarding his family, Dan ARNS provided contact info.  Only two brothers remain.  Contacted one and told him about the induction ceremony coming up.  He listened to me for a few minutes and he then informed me he was cooking super so had to go.

Sorry Morrie, I didn’t see your post.  We have deciddd to have it either on the Yorktown or possibly at the Town and Country near by, depending on if the Yorktown powers to be show us the respect we deserve and back off on what they want to charge us.  Either way, it will be in the town of Mt Plesant South Carolina.  The dates are 12 and 13 April.  I’m trying to get this published but working really hard on getting people nominated.  We need more nominations as soon as possible.  31 have been approved for induction so far.
