Helped Bill Brodie transition to multi-engine fixed wing A/C at Miramar.  Some pucker facter times .  like no carb air heat over Mt.Shasta when both engines quit.  I was quick on the Wobble pump. sure was quiet.

Training flt. to NAAS Sandpoint from NAS Mirramar. Had just left Beale AFB,climbing to alt when both carbs iced due to pilot error.  Advanced mixture, mags off then on ,backfired both engines turned carb heat on and continued flt.  Station A/C.
