Do you have any of these pictures and/or film for Scramble the Seawolves??

Jeff and Shannon Arballo
Good morning,
We hope this note finds you all doing well!!

It was always our goal to use as much original Seawolf film/photos, limiting the use of over-used archival film that typically pops up in documentaries.  By using all original film/photos this will simply add to the production and is fitting for such a unique and special Squadron :)!   THANK YOU to those that have shared their film/photos with us already!

If you have any of the below, either in still pictures and/or film, please let us know and we will send you a link, so that you can simply drag and drop your film/photos.  We'll likely be adding/removing from this list over the coming months.
-
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

1- Pics/Film of Sgt Baratko
2- Pics/Film of Norm Stayton
3 - Pics/Film of Lloyd T. Williams Jr.
3- Pics/Film of VC Lake
4- Pics of Support Personnel
5- If you served during the decommissioning of the Squadron and have pictures of the very last Huey being flown in, we'd love to get some pictures of this. We have some original film of the smoke as the huey was being flown in, however, if anyone has pictures of this event, this would be fantastic.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to review this list and getting back to us.

P.s.  We are open to receiving other photos you have as well, so please don't hesitate to share.  The film will be a 2-hour Feature Length Documentary. With that being said, not all photos will make the final cut due to time limitations, however, we will use the shots we need to tell the compelling story of the Seawolves!

Thank you for entrusting us with your story and thank you for your generosity in sharing your film and photos with us.

Respectfully,
Jeff and Shannon Arballo

Sorry Jeff and Shannon --- in reference to VC Lake, there is no footage ------  when actions like this happened, even though there might have been 10 cameras on board --- they were of no value at all, and the last thing to be thought of --------    consider this, to put it in a perspective, you are riding in a tomato can that makes a lot of noise --- but is a powerful ordinance delivery system ------  what do you do as you are taking hits ? ------ light up every cannon you have available, orrrrrrrrr ??     I believe one other thing always in common of our missions ------ the really bad ones NEVER had pictures taken -------  VC Lake, Norm Stayton, Zulu Platoon, and a hundred otters that never were recorded or awarded ....... sorry guys , I don't mean to be a use guy or disrespective, just trying to put it in a perspective ---------------- now, if we had "Go Pros" back then, you would probably be in the Academy Award Lane

Shannon

I sent you an email offering some photos.  You asked me to watch for an email from Jeff that I could up load photos to. So far I have not seen that email.  Perhaps he could try sending it again in case I just missed it.  Thanks.

I served in Vietnam in HAL-3 Jan 6,1970 to Dec 5,1970 as a Jet engine mechanic ADJ-3 USA I have pictures but most are on slides and some paper pictures but nothing like the door gunners had. I could have been a door gunner but I had said when helicopters get fixed wings maybe I'd fly on them cause now I would as a passenger but I wanted to be a mechanic and that is what I did at home base Benh Thuy,S Vietnam. Anyway how would you be able to view what i had ,I would have to bring them to you I would not like to ship anything like this that can not be replaced ever.
My email is j.sanzoIII@tx.rr.com  I live in Texas 2401 Fox Glenn Circle,Bedford,Tx 76021

Hi there!
First and foremost, on behalf of my husband and myself, THANK YOU for your service! The job of a maintainer was HUGE, not to mention the tremendous responsibility in ensuring that the pilots and gunners had the safest possible bird for their missions. As we edit and lay this story down, we continue to be in AWE at what you all accomplished as a squadron.  Truly a captivating story.
We would love to see your pictures. The best way to get them to us and avoid mailing would be to take them to Kinko's or a copy shop and have them scanned. Then you can email them over. We will give you a call to chat!
Take care,
Shannon Arballo
