Confirmed a DAT yesterday

I had Seawolf Richard Mansfield DELONEY, AMS3, Maintenance, Binh Thuy, 10/11/1971 to 2/10/1972 marked as an "unconfirmed" DAT, because the only person with that name that I could find had a birth date of 1935, so I thought that was too old. Even his 1971 photo below didn't appear to be that old.

Our HA(L)-3 EDVR for Dec 1971 showed his Active Duty Base Date as Apr 1965.

He came to us from HC-7.

I have now found record in Ancestry.com that confirms it is him:
---------Ancestry.com. U.S., Department of Veterans Affairs BIRLS Death File, 1850-2010
Name: Richard Deloney
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 16 Mar 1935
Death Date: 20 Nov 2003
Branch 1: AF
Enlistment Date 1: 10 Sep 1954
Release Date 1: 12 Nov 1958
Branch 2: AF
Enlistment Date 2: 3 Dec 1958
Release Date 2: 6 Oct 1964
Branch 3: NAVY
Enlistment Date 3: 2 Apr 1965    [THIS MATCHES HIS ADBD FROM OUR HA(L)-3 DEC 1971 EDVR]

Release Date 3: 14 Jun 1974
So, because he was prior Air Force (10 years) then broken service, our ADBD only showed the Navy's ADBD.

He has no living relatives.
