News Flash - Another boat intercepted off the Texas coast
 
The Coast Guard intercepted a boatload of people off the Texas coast today.
 
This placed the Coast Guard in an awkward position, as the boat was not heading to the US, but towards Mexico and Central America.
 
Another surprise finding was the people were American retirement age seniors. Their claim was that they were trying to get to Central America or Southern Mexico so they could return to the US as illegal immigrants. Then they would be entitled to far more benefits than they were receiving as legitimate American retirees.
 
It is believed the Coast Guard gave them food, water and fuel and assisted them on their journey.
 
Maybe we could add this tour to the Reunion Agenda???

   Meanwhile on the Left Coast, a small boat with three Mexicans on board was intercepted by a 52ft. Coast Guard Cutter.  The Mexicans want to know if the U.S. was ready to surrender yet, as there were more invaders ready at the Border.

Worked out well for the Romney family...

Romney was born to American parents living in the Mormon colonies in Mexico; events during the Mexican Revolution forced his family to flee back to the United States when he was a child.

Romney family fled to Mexico so they could practice polygamy.  George Romney, Mitts father returned when he was younger...came back to US to avoid the revolution....it's a pretty interesting ordeal, and apparently people moved back and forth across the border...when it was to their advantage
