**01** Found DAT Seawolf Michael Lee REECE, AO1, I show him in Maintenance, Binh Thuy, but may have been a Gunner?, 7/12/1971 to 2/19.1972. Died 27 July 2002, in San Diego, CA. Found his SSN and checked awards, showed an Air Medal, Flight/Strike awarded during his tour with HA(L)-3. Checked his Service# in Awards and verified same Air Medal. His parents and wife are also deceased, could not find any siblings or children from the marriage in 1975.
If anyone knew or remembers him, please contact me or post info here.

Dan - There's a picture of AO1 Michael Reece in the photo section of my 1971-72 Seawolf Squadron book that was printed when Hal-3 decommisioned.  Top right photo on Page 23, then center photo on page 24 of Ordnance Shop personnel - Reece is standing, back row - far left.  If you can't find him, I can copy the page in my book and send it  to you - let me know.

Dan - I knew Reece, but he was going back to the States shortly after I met him in the Binh Thuy AO Shop.  AO's Zachary and Roop knew him much better than I did though.

I finally figured it out...you numbered your pages different than mine. You started page one with Capt Borgstrom instead of the History page.

Its funny that they didn't number the pages when they printed the book, it would have made it easier to look things up.
