I last spoke with him in 2010 and he was 75, taking care of his very ill handicapped wife, fighting to keep their house, no computer, didn't know how to work one. He mentioned your name and some hunting/fishing up at Whidbey, and as you know I asked if I could give you his number, and he declined because he needed to keep his phone line open. (good thing you were able to find his number on whitepages.com!
). I knew Joe also in VAQ-133 up at Whidbey before I shipped over for SAR Swimmer School and Whidbey SAR.
When I read this post, I did some checking and sorry to say Gene, we lost another Seawolf!
