Ray,
All of our gunship tail numbers started with "3" followed by 2 other numbers, but those numbers in the article referred to Call Signs, not Tail Numbers. Those call signs "66" & "69" would be Det 6 Call signs.

All the Dets except Det 2, moved around frequently, so Det 6 may have also been in the area at that time.

I posted the article to see if anyone recalled the mission, but appears no one has yet...
