..Just returned from a great visit with the Seawolf's who are on the RFTW motorcycle ride..seen sum old buds and met a few new ones..it was a six day trip for me.. rode down to John Steely's house first and we rekindle the old days with stories from days of us fly'n together in "the Nam"..Together we made the ride, over mountains, thru forest, across deserts, past small sleepy towns and loud noisy city's, beautiful scenery to enjoy, when away from cities..what a grand time it be to lay eyes once more upon those "young lads"..(a myth used here, because "they" really r knot)...John Gana (CDR USN, Wolf 13 "ICE PAC") had not seen me for 44yrs and was there the day i was shot.. an incredible man he be with story's to boot.!..and Rick, Barry, Jack, Tom, Art & Joe...really special folk..We all did honor at the American Legion Post in Cottonwood CA for Glenn L. Wilson Sr., i had met Glen back in 1996 at the Roseburg VA, we both went thru the PTSD program..2 wolves together made a point to other Vets in program..We also watched a parade, enjoyed a great barb-a-que,over at Angles & Rusty house, and honored Glenn's Mom with a Mother Day breakfast, with Glenn's Dad, sister, and friends....A very good trip of 800 miles it was on the bike..I wish "happy trails.!" to those youngsters and too, that Air Force guy, Joe....sooo many story's i hold from our time together, my throat gets dry,... could use a brew...but i'll stik with coffee for present..perhaps.?
