Update on dad: Mom & I decided to rest today. Yesterday was beyond exhausting. My allergies were awful with this wind & we were all shades of emotional yesterday. Tawni went back to work. According to the nurse dad is alert. He knows where he is, what year it is, & he ate breakfast. They extracted more fluid but the swelling is about the same. Thank you for the prayers & messages. They are great encouragement for us.

As a friend of mine texted to me today Life is tough but God is good. We pray that Norm and his family have the strength and courage today to face whatever comes that Norm exhibited on a daily basis in Vietnam.
