**07** This is previously UNFOUND Seawolf David Carroll BRANNON, AMS1, Gunner, SEALORDS, Binh Thuy, 12/23/1969 to 12/17/1970.
I found obituary information with very little information, that appeared to be him, indicating he had passed away so I marked record as Unconfirmed DAT.
Tributes.com "Obituary"
"David Carroll Brannon
Born: August 14, 1937
Died: February 18, 2011
Location: Cedar Hill, Texas
Tribute & Message From The Family
David was born on August 14, 1937 and passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011.
David was a resident of Cedar Hill, Texas."

I recently found information in an Ancestry.com Member's tree having “David C Brannon” that appeared to confirm that he had passed away along with his parents, and contacted her via Ancestry.com.
She responded yesterday saying "the information I provided, seems to be for the one & only David Brannon, my (deceased) stepfather".
I’ve responded to her trying to obtain more info on burial, cause of death, siblings, etc.

CY 1970 Command History says Aircraft 857, (Sealord 7) crashed at Long Phu and David was treated for minor injuries and released. Wolfgram July & August 1970 shows working in Line Division.
He transferred to VF-121, Miramar, CA after HA(L)-3. David passed away 2/18/2011 in TX, waiting for more info to come.

168 Seawolves still left to be found
