We are planning a burial at Houston's National Cemetery. We are awaiting a date at this time, probably about a week or so. I will let you know the date as soon as I am told. Who could ever have known Agent Orange would be the reason he was going to suffer so long.
I live in League City just south of Houston. Bryan was given a large twin size hospital bed with head, foot and entire bed motors because he had suffered a fractured hip as well during his illness. I called the VA who had provided it a few months ago to pick it up.( He had a regular size hospital bed but it had been miserable and uncomfortable). I have a mattress and full gel pad for it as well. They told me it was mine and I could do what I wanted to with it. Is there any Seawolves in the area that you are aware of who could use this bed? I want to give it to a veteran who could benefit from this. Both head and foot rails also included. Extra long as well, rated for 900 pounds. It is very heavy but was assembled in about 30 minutes when we received it.
If there are no Seawolves in need any veteran would be ok.
The best part is that the entire bed raises to save the caregiver bending and pulling.
