I just discovered info on the Facebook profile of "Anthony Jane Rosario" (Jane is his wife):

LIFE Member, Seawolf Anthony Borja "Tony" Rosario, AE1, Gunner, Det 9, 7/7/1970 to 6/8/1971 passed away in Guam on April 19, 2019. "Tony" retired from the Navy as a LT.

Website also has Det 9 photo with him: Website Det 9 Photo

---Turns out Tony's wife Jane also passed away back in 2015.

Rosie was all fun as a 2nd class, great to fly with...   and the only guy on det that I was taller than, one 'downtime day' we 'borrowed' wild Bill's single 40 boston whaler and went down the Mekong to the nearest burg, it was the corner of Canal and Mekong...  population, about 500 or so, and 'friendly before dark' ...  I'll skip the afternoon stories, but just after dark we figured we better head back to the YRBM...   after dark going upstream on the Mekong...that little 40 blowing smoke, whining ... and so dark we could see the banks, nor any horizon...  figured the only light we could see was the mast 'white light' on the YRBM...   seemed like it took an hour to get back....   we pulled up to the barge tied to the back (I think that is called the stern)...  tied up the Whaler, walked through the mess decks during the movie, climbed the ladder to the hooch and napped...

WTF were we thinking...
