Scramble the Seawolves - Veterans Day Broadcast PBS

Shannon Arballo
Hello there,
Scramble the Seawolves - VETERANS DAY Broadcast on PBS update!  As you know, we are working hard to have another HUGE National Broadcast of Scramble the Seawolves on Veterans Day!  One by one, we have been reaching out to each and every PBS Station in the Country and have already began getting confirmation that Scramble WILL in fact be aired as part of the Veterans Day programming. YEAH!!!  It's too early to start posting Dates/Times, but just know we are actively working on it and as we get a bit closer, we'll send out the schedule!!!  The best is yet to come.... we just know it :)!

If you'd like to help, feel free to call your local PBS Station and kindly request that they include Scramble the Seawolves in to their Veterans Day programming. They will need to know that it is being Distributed by NETA and Presented by KPBS.

Also, side note.... Scramble the Seawolves has aired in 46 States on over 150 PBS Stations so far across the country!  We couldn't be more proud to have this type of carriage.  Your story, the story of the Seawolves, has brought the Nation to its knees in AWE of what you ALL accomplished during the Vietnam War.
Ralph Christoper said it best when he said, "...I believe it will help American understand us and help us in the healing of our wounds."
Believe me when I tell you this.... America has spoken and they APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!!

Blessings to you and yours!
Shannon

spent quite a while in conversation with Shannon and Jeff  last night.  have yet to view "Scramble" , but was surprised abt how much they knew of HAL-3 , they seem to really care.

I'm not a joiner and no plans to, but am quite happy that someone finally had the time/patience to tell the nearly forgotten story.

for some reason I've never shown up on roster lists, but Shannon was able to find me on hers. Thanks much S & J for giving me the time to discuss/vent.

Tom,
You don't show up on Roster lists because you haven't joined the Association.

Email me at dan_arnes@yahoo.com and we'll fix that!

I've registered for the forum , had been in the Assn long ago,but let it lapse
as many of the points of view on the forum did not align well with mine.

There were some crazies on the forum back then, hope it has improved.. Was
encouraged to check back here by Shannon.

I found and spoke with you back in Jan 2010, shortly after I had joined and started working on tracking down Seawolves.
You were no longer a member then, so I wasn't aware that you had already been found.

I let you vent at the time as I was new to the Association, and didn't know much about what happened within the Association or the Forum until later.
Yes, it was in turmoil, and Yes, it has improved!

But I marked you as "Privacy Requested" and respected that. Hence, I've never contacted you again and your contact info is not on any of the lists that I send out by States, etc.
That is also why you never received the multiple emails I've sent out to Seawolves for Jeff and Shannon with info regarding the "Scramble the Seawolves" Documentary coming out,
and being approved by PBS Statewide, among other things, such as a Celebration of Life you missed for a Seawolf in your State who passed away.

You have my email in my post above, if you would like to change any of this and/or re-join the "new and improved" Association, I'll be glad to do it and include you in my Seawolves email lists.

after my post this AM, I looked up the worst of the crazies and seems like he

died in 2014 .... so it has to be better.
