The family of Clynton Bassett have request the PGR stand for him at his
[interment] services On July 7, 2015 at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery [Dixon, CA]. The PGR are honored to stand for this veteran and combat hero.
Clynton enlisted in the Navy in [Feb] 1970 and served until [Feb] 1974, during his service he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Navy [Presidential] Unit Commendation, Vietnam Service Medal [w/2 stars], Vietnam Campaign Medal, [Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation for Gallantry, and Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation for Civil Actions]. He commenced his tour in Vietnam in 1971 at Helicopter Attack Squadron (Light)-3 where he served until [March] 1972.
