Excellent idea Mike. Here is a condolence message I posted on Legacy.com. Perhaps a letter from Joe to the family would be appropriate. Someone at the Ranch could give specific directions.
"My Vietnam squadron mates of Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron THREE - HA(L)-3 Seawolves received the most wonderful Welcome Home imaginable. Through the kindness of Ross Perot and his son Ross Jr. our Seawolf reunion was invited to the South Fork Ranch on September 6, 2014. Police escort, chartered buses, exceptional food, drink and entertainment was provided to our squadron in recognition of our service and our forty-four brothers who did not return.
If for no other reason than recognition for our fallen brothers we were most tearfully humbled. Every Seawolf alive today will mourn the passing of our Navy brother and of his tremendous patriotism.
Our prayer is for God's merciful blessing upon the soul of Ross Perot."
