Received another one of those bad news, and increasingly too frequent emails this morning:

Dear Seawolf Brothers,
I received the word from Bill Barnes late this afternoon that our patriot brother and leader, Con was moved from Baptist Hospital to Covenant Hospice today.
Covenant Hospice, 10075 Hillview Drive, Pensacola FL 32514, 850 484-3529
Room #7; covenanthospice.org
When Dick Catone, Gary Skaar and I visited Con yesterday at mid morning, he knew who we were, seemed to respond to our lively banter with his typical hand waving and lively facial expressions. He just couldn’t seem to get the words to come out – much like us trying to hover with all the controls for the very first time.
When the physical therapy staff came in to get him sitting and then standing with assistance, he seemed to have his rotor rpm up above the busy signal and slight tail rotor authority. Maybe some of the oil pressure was a little low, but the gage still showed a decent blood pressure. The three of us were impressed with his condition, not counting the visible corrosion and fading paint.
Well, it appears our brother has now been moved into Hospice Hangar. He has apparently lost tail rotor authority, the busy signal is on, and there might be a couple of flashing warning lights, too. So let’s offer our prayers from which ever maintenance or dash one manual you prefer.
Though we haven’t spoken with Terri, Con’s flight readiness change came quite unexpectedly, and their pastor said she was not ready for this. Our hearts know we are always ready for GQ, but then ...
The Pensacola Seawolves will keep watch on our brother Con, and will pass the word when honors are to be rendered.
Dan Arnes, will you be so kind as to put this on the forum or pass the word as you see fit.
God Bless Captain Con Jaburg, and the country he and we love,
Mike

Prayers go out to Con and family.
