U.S. Senate has confirmed the next Secretary of Veterans Affairs by a 97-0 vote

The United Senate  today confirmed Robert McDonald by a vote of 97-0 to become the next Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Mr. McDonald  a West Point graduate, served five years in the Army, retiring as a captain in 1980.  Mr. McDonald  also worked  more than 30 years at Procter and Gamble as President and CEO from 2009 to 2013.
