Need VA Rep

cjones
Anyone knowing of a good VA rep near Oklahoma City or perhaps anywhere in Oklahoma, please let me know.  There is a young lady that works at the Pain Management doctors office that I go to that is looking for a good VA rep.  She really got a raw deal when she first submitted her claims upon discharge from the Navy.  She took care of a lot of wounded during the Iraq War.

IN GENERAL, the DAV Service Officers receive the best training.  That is not to say the other orgs' SOs are not good but she should start with DAV at the VA Regional Office in OK City, go meet the SO and if she feels he/she is good, go with the DAV.  If she does not get a good feeling, or the DAV SO's caseload is too big, stop by the other org’s SOs and find someone she feels will provide quality service.

The reps are in the same area in the OKC VA . If she tried to do the paperwork herself, the evaluators had her pegged from the get go ----  PTSD is especially an uphill battle ---- prepare to appeal appeal appeal --- and the Reps (advocates) know how the paperwork needs to be
