Facebook post this morning:
Linda Peterson Combs to HA(L) 3 US NAVY SEAWOLVES
There is a SEAWOLF Reunion going on in heaven today.... Mommanocker (Dorothy Schafernocker) had reunited with her son Michael E. Schafernocker this morning at 3:53 a.m.
God Blessed our families by having her with us for 89 3/4 years. RIP Aunt Dorothy!! Enjoy all those hugs you are getting from Mike, Seawolf brothers, my sister and the rest of our family. I love you Aunt Dorothy and will miss you so much!!!
Thanks for posting this Dan. Momma and Mike will be laughing at a number of us old buttheads. There is no doubt that she has recovered all of her memories of family to include the Seawolf Brothers.
Mamma was one great lady who is going to be missed for that great warm love she had for no only her Seawolf family but, for every Veteran she came in contact with!! Mamma will always be remembered!
Re: Mommanocker (Dorothy Schafernocker) passed away this morning
With the conversations I've had with Linda they are going to try and have something for her in about a month or so for all to get together. I'm sure she will post something when it gets all worked out.
There will be a family memorial in the next couple of weeks.
Due to the holidays, caring for mom and dad (her brother) and travel plans I have in February, we are planning March or April 2017 for the Seawolf Memorial.
We're calling it "A Spring "Potluck" Picnic Celebrating Momma's Life".
Since I know this is going to be a large event it will give me time to get everything organized. Location will be her house where many of you attended picnics in the past. We hope to see as many of sons and daughters as possible. A date will be set as soon as possible, so those needing to make travel arrangements can plan ahead.
More details will be sent out as time goes by. I would appreciate any comments, stories or ideas for this event. This will be a VERY SPECIAL DAY!

I think this is a great idea Linda r6g7even though it's a couple months away it's leaves those that want to attend plenty of time to plan on the trip and not have to worry about the holidays that are coming up between now and January.
