I spoke with Earl Guthauser today and he is in need of help in finding an advocate to help him get assistance from the VA. Earl had a foot amputated recently and he is now recovering at home (he lives alone). Earl is having access issues around his house. He is in need of a ramp to get in and out, bathroom access and other problems associated with his injury.
Earl has tried going through the VA, filling out all the paperwork, but they gave him the usual runaround. So, he is need of an advocate who can take up his fight and get the help he needs and frankly deserves.
Earl lives in Payson, Arizona just north of Phoenix. If someone out there can find an advocate to help him out, please contact Earl ASAP. I will list his cell and home number below. FYI, Earl did 3 tours with HAL3, he help build the barracks in Vung Tau, worked in the AMS shop and then went out to DET 5 as a gunner. We need to get him help as quickly as we can. Thanks
