Looking for Lt Simpson from Vinh Long Seawolf detachment

I served with River Division 52 and Rivron 57  from Oct 67 till Oct 68.  I was one of the guys cut off on the riverbase  after Tet.  We defended the base for 3 days until the Uss Garrett County could come upriver.  Lt Simpson saved our hineys numerous times.  I think he was from the Carolinas.   Cheers and good tidings to all Seawolves!
