Following is a Facebook post by Shannon Crutcher Arballo (with permission):
’m sorry, Facebook is so impersonal. We’re heartbroken to write this, but today our Dad and Moms partner in life, Joe Crutcher, met Jesus.
We weren’t ready for this, but nobody ever is I suppose. Over the last week or so, my Dad had battled Covid and sadly, this morning the Lord called him home.
There are no words to convey the tremendous heartbreak and loss we feel! We know he was special and we all feel so very grateful that we got to be a part of his story and that he was ours!
Please keep my mom and family in your prayers, especially my Mom as she navigates each day ahead. May God give her strength, wisdom and comfort. She is asking my Dad to send her a sign letting her know he is ok and I know she’ll be looking for that. She knows though, he is. She just misses him so…. We all do!
We’ll update Facebook and friends and family in the days ahead with details on his service. It will be a real shin-dig and beyond special, just as he would want it!
I feel so honored and overwhelmingly blessed to know that my Dads story… his voice, his laugh, will not only live in our hearts but in the movie! I’m now one of those daughters that gets to think of her own Daddy when I watch it. We
Got to share a great adventure over the past few years together and as I mentioned at the reunion, I got to share this last chapter of my life with my Dad which was something I didn't take for granted.
