Memorial visitation Thursday, December 30, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows. Friends and family will have a chance to share stories and memories at 7:30 pm. lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.

ROLLING MEADOWS - James N. Piccolo, 74, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 25, 2021. He was born August 1, 1947 in Atlantic City, New Jersey to the late Isabelle (nee Kudlicki) and James Piccolo. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war and served in the U.S. Navy. James Piccolo was a loving & dedicated father, grandpa, husband and friend. James was a decorated Vietnam Veteran who served his country with distinction, earning the Navy Commendation, The Purple Heart and his flight wings. He was a member of the Seawolves, which was one of the most decorated units in the war and this was a point of pride for James and all who served with him. He was the Forman of the Arlington Hts Sewer Dept. for many years and earned the respect of every man he managed and mentored. James will be missed by everyone whose life he ever touched. A good person, a great man and one of a kind. James was the husband of Jennifer (nee Selbitschka); father of Michelle (Brett) Kurlander and Jill (Ben) Kruse; devoted loving grandfather of Nathan, Joey, Talon, Brody, and Kip; brother of Jan Yates, Richard (Wanda) Piccolo, Vince (Carrie) Piccolo, Thomas (Gail) Piccolo, Mary Piccolo, and the late Patty Bosslet; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
