Hi there!
A couple of weeks ago we shared that SCRAMBLE THE SEAWOLVES had been APPROVED For National Distribution. Over the past couple of weeks we have been hard at work getting ready for NETA to publish their “Program Offer” of Scramble the Seawolves to ALL Public Television Stations across the Country. There is a lot of “behind the scenes” work that is involved.
TODAY begins a NEW CHAPTER. We are beyond overjoyed and so proud to have produced a film that honors the SEAWOLVES and finally tells their captivating story. While Scramble the Seawolves did air on TV in the San Diego Market on KPBS, we were NOT going to stop though until this film was shown NATIONALLY so that ALL American’s will hear this very important Story.
So, there are 2 ways to help us.
One, if you support your local Public Broadcast Station, THIS is the time to make a phone call. When you call your local Public Broadcast Station, you will want to speak to the “Programming Manager” or whomever is responsible for scheduling programming. If their unavailable, leave a message or ask for their email. You will want to give them the TITLE of the movie (Scramble the Seawolves) and let them know WHY you feel this film needs to be shared and what it means to you.
(Specific DETAILS you may want to mention… the “Program Offer” is NOW available through NETA (National Educational Telecommunications Association). The “Presenting Station” is KPBS. The “FEED” will be available on May 18th, however, we are trying hard to secure national “carriage” for Memorial Day! YES, kindly request that it be aired on Memorial Day this year! Jeff and I will be marketing hard on our side specifically seeking “National Carriage” on Memorial Day, Monday May 27th!
The second way to help is to purchase a copy, or an additional copy, of the EXTENDED CUT Blu-ray of Scramble the Seawolves. In case you missed it, the Blu-ray is approx. 25 minutes longer than the “TV/Broadcast version” and tells the very emotional stories of 3 of the 5 Navy Cross Recipients; Jim Walker, Allen Weseleskey and Norm Stayton. Included inside the Blu-ray packaging is a 12-page insert that lists the names of the 2,556 Seawolves that served in HA(L)-3 from 1966-1972. ALL proceeds of our Blu-ray sales will simply help us cover anticipated expenses with marketing and national distribution over the next several weeks.
You can order on our site at www.scrambletheseawolves.com . If you would like to place your order by phone, feel free to give us a call at 760-809-4558. If you would like to order but would prefer to write a check, Checks can be made payable to Arballo Entertainment, 1296 Avenida Fragata, San Marcos, CA 92069
Please do not hesitate to email or call us if you have any questions.
We have said in the past, “The Best Is Yet To Come”… we truly believe this!
Take care and THANK YOU for your continued support!
