**04** Found and spoke with Seawolf William D. “Don” HOLMAN, AN, Gunner, Det 1, 4/5/1971 to 2/14/1972. I’d sent a letter 9/6/19 to an address in Porum, OK I had,
but couldn’t get a good phone# for. That letter was forwarded by an address change to his Sister who sent it back to me with her name and address. I tracked down a phone# for her and called.
Spoke with her for a while, and then I spoke with Don for a while. He has serious medical issues, and sometimes hard to understand, but we talked for a while.
He said he used to be a truck driver, which my experience has shown to be the hardest people to find! Sent him the “Stuff” to sister’s email.
Of our 2,556 confirmed Seawolf names, 178 Seawolves still left to be found, which includes 14 Enlisted Plank Owners.
