**01** Found DAT Seawolf Amadeo Cabias VILLANUEVA, ADJC, Maintenance, Binh Thuy, 6/29/1971 to 2/28/1972. Found through about 4 documents on Ancestry.com, but clincher was Petition for Naturalization in late 1960’s with his service# and first enlistment date of 8 Sep 1954, both matching his HA(L)-3 record. Burial information unknown, but I think it’s probably Philippines, as he was born there, and stationed there at least twice that I know of. His last residence when he died 17 Jun 1996, according to SSDI was (U.S. Consulate) Madrid, Spain.

293 Navy Seawolves still remain to be found, which includes 25 Plank Owners.
Sadly, we have
560 confirmed DAT (Died After Tour), (21.94%).
Also looking for 5 prior Association Members we’ve lost contact with:
Homer Tipton; Franklin Gregory; Ramsey Hawley; Charles Russell; Donald Wilson,
and 20 known Army Sea Wolves.
