**03** Found, spoke with, and confirmed with an older still living Sister-in-Law of DAT
Plank Owner Seawolf Donald Truman BOLTON, AO2, Gunner, Dets 2 & 3, 6/15/1967 to 4/23/1968.
Found that he died on 9/11/1969 while on Leave in San Diego after an accident with a Semi on August 10, 1969, seriously injuring him and minor injuries to wife and Semi Driver.
He died almost a month later. A Minnesota Obituary indicates he passed away a little more than a year after transferring from HA(L)-3 to the USS CORAL SEA and advancing to Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class (AO1)
with 6 years, 4 months in the Navy when he passed away at age 24.
