Just received a call from Mrs Klavon, Tom passed away last night of a massive stroke. Tom was my left gunner during the Zulu Platoon incident in early 71. Without his gun, and excellent marksmanship, I feel confident in saying, the rescue may never have happened. Tom has been there for our association many times, creating the nose art that has been on some of the helos and some RV's in the past. He also used his skills to create a couple of the large model Seawolf Hueys that have been on display. Always true to his Seawolf buddies and as to their well being . I flew hundreds of missions with Tom, I will miss him. The Red Cross is searching for his son Paul, who is still in the Army. Services will be decided on when Paul makes it home. Take care Seawolf, RIP
