Det 4 Pilot Found DAT

Dan Arnes
Administrator
I found a Det 4 Pilot DAT today.
LTJG Gary Neil Kitchen, Det 4 5/4/1970 to 4/30/1971.

I think someone may have known about it at one point, but he was not on the DAT List that Jack turned over to me.

I say someone might have known, as his wife Pamela (now also deceased in 2006) was shown as a FAM Member on the 2002 Roster.

They married 21 Feb 1997 and he died 16 Feb 1998. It appears they had no children, can't find any living relatives now.

Found him passed away on 2/16/1998 in CA.

I know it's him, because I got his SSN from the SS Death Index and checked the Navy Awards, and he received two F/S Air Medals, one in 1970 and one in 1971, during his tour dates.
