Spent some time with Ski on Det-2, we had many crazy adventures together....I remember one memorable event when he suggested we all pierce our left ear.
Well, Ski was the “designated surgeon”, because he said,”I KNOW how to pierce an ear!”
Then he shows up with a sharp nail, alcohol, hammer, fire and beer and whiskey, to take the pain edge off...
Can’t remember who went under the nail and hammer first, but it wasn’t pretty.
After lots of screaming we all sat around drinking with these nasty pieces of string in our newly punctured ear holes.....
Ski then announced,”Now don,t let them holes get infected!”
We commenced to irrigate our pie holes and our ear holes with copious amounts of a alcohol, Doctor’s orders!
Funny thing is everyone pulled those nasty strings out after 24 hours.......
Somewhere I have photos of Ski on Det-2, i’ll Try to find them and post.
Until We meet again, Rest easy my Brother, make sure the cooler full and the beer’s cold when we meet again.....
