Branson Reunion Coronus virus

Joe Crutcher
Good morning everyone. Now that the topic of the Coronavirus situation and what impact it may have on our upcoming Branson Reunion in September has been raised, let me restate that we are continuously monitoring the situation.
I am quite sure I can speak for our Executive Committee when I say our desire is to have this Virus disappear and for us to be able to continue on with our existing plans for a great and successful Reunion in September.
The upside of our decision making challenge right now is that we have some time to continue our monitoring and to make necessary changes to our plans as may become necessary in the future.
There is nothing , at this time , that is triggering an alarm that says changes need to be made now. If any need for changes  arise , as we get closer to our reunion date, we will approach these future obstacles as they appear and you may rest assured that any decisions that must be made ( if any) will be made with the intent to safeguard our entire Seawolf Family.
Again let me say, as your President, we are aware of what is happening and for now our Reunion plans are intact and if any thing changes we will immediately inform everyone.
Looks like we have a great attendance signed up already.
LETS GO HAVE A GREAT GET TOGETHER !!

Re: Branson Reunion Coronus virus

PAUL ALBERTINE
Earlier this month, the VA confirmed the first case in its system. That veteran is currently being treated for coronavirus at a VA facility in Palo Alto, California.
Fifteen other cases, either confirmed or presumed to be positive, have since surfaced at VA facilities in Nevada, Louisiana, Washington state, Georgia, South Dakota and Colorado.
As of Friday, the VA says it has administered 140 tests nationwide, up from 70 just two days prior. That means roughly 9% of those tests have registered indications of coronavirus, a staggering result considering the VA provides care for millions of veterans.
The VA has 3,000 test kits available,1,000 of which were provided by the CDC and will be used first. An additional 2,000 VA-developed tests will only be used if necessary, VA spokesperson Christina Mandreucci told CNN.
