A few months ago Mike Brink tasked me with the job of finding a worthy recipient of a Blue Ray Scramble Seawolves -----  think about that for a second -----   who would you pick --- seriously !!!!   Perhaps Mike Louy and the "Goat Lips Gang" in Pensacola gave me the first indirect direction.  Last Tuesday I had the distinct privilege of attending a Young Republican meeting (no age comments needed here please) where the guest speaker was past Florida Representative Allen West LT Col (ret) .  This man is, in person,is even more impressive than on any You Tube ------  you need to hear him !!!      Afterward, I waited to nearly last in line ----- "Does anyone ever give you something?" I asked as he signed my book.    "What do you mean?"  .....   "Well, you are a excellent historian with a military interest , here is something for you"    and I presented him first with our Legislative Resolution, followed by the copy of our Blue Ray that Mike  (why is it Allen is the only one that isn't a Mike in here ?) Brink had sent me ---- and followed that with one of our Challenge coins .    Hopefully he will have the time to watch it --- I'm pretty sure he will.     The next day he was in Odessa Tx, 400 miles + to the west for another Republican meeting in Odessa  for lunch -------- At 58, perhaps he is looking at 2024 ---- Lord, I hope so

Hey Mike and Brothers,

I thought LCOL West would have been a good DOD candidate.  He is a straight no bull-shit type of guy.  You can believe him.  Excellent legislative credibility - former Congressman from FL.  He has two families - his own and his own - yes his personal family and the US Army and by extension all of us.  If LTCOL West actually wants to run for public office again, how about we Seawolves get him a great spoksman?  Who better than Gary Sinise???

I met Gary very briefly at his book signing at Sams Club here in Pensacola a short while back.  I gave him a letter approved from Joe Crutcher, a Blu-Ray Scramble The Seawolves, the Congressional Seawolves Resolution and obviously our challenge coin.  Now I don't know whether Gary would get into the political ring, but one very good way would be to push him for the Presidential Freedom Medal (I bet Trump would jump at the chance to give it to him), the top civilian award.  He already has the Presidents Citizens Medal, the number two awared given to him by Bush in 2008.

What team could have more creds than Alan West with spokesman Gary Sinise?   The you could get J. C. Watts from Oklahoma on the same team.  Mike, you know how well J.C. is regarded in Oklahoma - 76% approval the last time he ran for Congress.  Think about it?
